Project Overview: These specially designed high quality new homes were requested by Kent County Council (KCC) to help address the acute shortage of suitable homes for supported living in the county, and to enable adults with care and support needs to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

The building is designed for enhanced energy efficiency, meaning reduced energy bills for tenants.12 x 1-bed flats for adults with learning disabilities and/or autistic adults. Communal space and screened gardens. Dedicated on-site staff/office space for tenant safety and support. Lift and level access throughout. Assistive technology enabled. Enhanced fire protection.

The site is well-located within a 10-minute walk of a thriving town centre, within a 2-minute walk of public transport, and with access to green spaces nearby.

Coral Role: Full end-to-end role. Originate project, validate need, source site, identify parties, construct commercial terms, develop design brief/options, and submit the planning application. Act locally with Master Developer/Fund on mobilisation, construction, and delivery

Outcome: Building delivered successfully and 12 young adults living happily and independently
